After I shared my post Why I Write Hotwife Erotica, I got an email that made me smile. The reader asked:
“OK, I get why you write hotwife stories—but what kind do you write?”
Fair question. There’s a huge range within the genre—from harsh humiliation to pure romantic heat—and every author has their own angle. So I thought I’d answer here.
The answer is simple: I’m drawn to stories where desire brings couples closer. Where a woman is not just loved, but wanted. Where the husband isn’t humiliated or cast aside, but remains part of the journey—even when he’s watching from the sidelines. He might struggle, yes. He might wrestle with jealousy. But he never stops loving her, and she never stops loving him.
I don’t write stories where trust is broken. I write stories where it’s tested—and strengthened. Where boundaries are explored, not bulldozed. Where a husband can see his wife spent and satisfied, and still feel wanted—because of what they’ve just shared.

Just before I take a short break, I thought I’d share a question I get asked quite a bit:
Why do I write hotwife erotica?
The short answer? Because it’s fun.
The long answer? Because it’s empowering, exciting, and deeply erotic—not just for the characters I create, but for the readers who get to live the experience through them.
To me, the hotwife dynamic is one of the hottest fantasies out there. It’s about exploration, trust, and that electrifying mix of vulnerability and empowerment. It’s not about betrayal—it’s about deepening the bond between partners by expanding the boundaries of pleasure and connection.
Many men don’t realise how deeply ingrained this fantasy can be. We’re often taught to protect, to be possessive, to keep our partners all to ourselves. But as relationships mature, and love evolves beyond raising children or chasing conventional ideals, something changes. It becomes less about guarding, and more about sharing. About wanting to see your partner pleasured—truly pleasured—even if that pleasure comes from someone else’s touch.
That shift, that tension between jealousy and arousal, is exactly where I find the heat. It’s intimate. Emotional. Raw. Writing these stories gives me the thrill of experiencing that journey again and again—and sharing it with you.
And of course, there’s one more motivator.
My wife recently said—jokingly, or so I thought—
“If you make a million from your books next year… I’ll let another guy fuck me.”
I laughed. “That’s a bit high, don’t you think?”
She smiled. “Fine. Make a hundred grand, and it’s a deal.”
The way she looked at me then… I’m not entirely sure she was joking.
So yes—I write hotwife erotica for the tension, the turn-on, the trust…
