A short update on what I have been working on most recently

I have this idea of writing a few short stories on the theme of hotwives embarking on exotic adventures. ‘An Affair In The Desert’ is the first one in the series. It is about a couple who are stranded in the desert, and fortunately for them, they are discovered by some rather unusual saviours. And the couple’s fortune does not end with being only saved from the hot desert sun. Those of you who read my books know that I like my stories to have a little twist, and this one will be no exception. ‘An Affair In The Desert’ was supposed to be short, or rather ‘shortish’, with around 30,000-32,000 words. However, I have always had difficulty keeping things short, and since my characters like things to last long (pun intended), the story is now almost 60,000 words long! So it won’t be short nor ‘shortish’, but I am glad to say that I am finalising the third draft, and the book will be out soon.

This is a story about a married couple becoming a webcam couple and much more in some very unusual circumstances!

Working from home for months during the health crisis is boring and depressing for Elle. Her sons are stuck in university lockdowns, and her husband, Josh, is exhausted from long hours in the hospital. The stress has taken its toll on the couple’s sex life despite their unfaltering love for each other. I woke up this morning with a question: Alex, what have you done? Usually, this is a question the heroines in my stories ask themselves in the morning after — well, those of you who read my stories know when. However, in my case, it was something different. I had missed my deadline to publish a book for the third time. And why? For the past few months, I have been working on one story, then jumped on a second before finishing the second draft of the first one, and then moved to a third story, leaving the third draft of the second story unfinished. Complicated? Yes, I have complicated my life by getting excited about one idea, then another, and thus have written three stories, which I like very much, but all of them require some editing before I can publish. It seems that being too excited about what I do is not always a good thing, and in the future, I will write one story at a time!

The good news is that the latest book I have been writing is almost ready. Its working title is ‘A hotwife in lockdown’. It is a story about a wife who finds an unusual way to liven up her dull days while stuck at home during the lockdown. I will have to publish the book by the end of March as the sun is out, and being the optimist I am, it is time that we move out of lockdowns and start thinking about the summer holidays. And with the summer, the time comes for outdoor adventures and RVs, which means I have to finish my RV story very soon too!

When Antony and I decided to celebrate the milestone of our 10th wedding anniversary with a tour in Peru, little did we know that it could turn into a hugely different landmark in our relationship.
Following our first meeting with Paul and his wife Jessica, my husband and I thought of them as another friendly couple to have chit-chats with. It turned out that they were to play a much more significant role than that. Paul’s physical attractiveness, combined with his bravado, and sometimes unorthodox behaviour, made for an intriguing persona that provoked my curiosity like never before. Heads up to anyone reading this blog. I’ve just completed the first draft of a new erotic story where a couple went camping around some beautiful lakes in the American Northeast, and they had some unexpected encounters. I hope to be able to publish the story by the end of July.
